Today’s world is filled with folks of many religions, ethnic backgrounds and beliefs. All too often we ridicule and judge those that are different, isolating those who do not conform to our view of the world. What we seemingly fail to realize is that living in a diverse society is, in its own way, a blessing, as it provides us with many opportunities to learn from another’s perspective. Rather than judging, ridiculing or isolating others for being different, wouldn’t the world be a better place for all if we learned to coexist and live in peace with those who differ from us?
